Download WhatsApp
- Visit the App Store on your iOS device or the Google Play Store on your Android device.
- Search for "WhatsApp Messenger."
- Tap "Install" or "Get" to download the app onto your device.
Open WhatsApp
- Locate the WhatsApp icon on your home screen or in your app drawer and tap to open it.
Agree to Terms and Conditions
- Read through the WhatsApp Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Tap on "Agree and Continue" to proceed with account creation.
Verify Your Phone Number
- Select your country from the dropdown list to automatically fill in the country code.
- Enter your phone number in the designated field.
- Tap "Next" and confirm the phone number is correct.
- Wait to receive an SMS message with a 6-digit verification code.
- Enter the verification code into the app. If you don't receive the code, you may request a voice call.
Set Up Your Profile
- Fill in your name as you want it to appear to other users.
- You can also add a profile photo by tapping on the camera icon and uploading an image from your gallery or taking a new photo.
- Tap "Next" to complete your profile setup.
Start Using WhatsApp
- You'll be taken to the chat interface where you can start chatting with your contacts.
- Tap the chat icon to select contacts or groups to message.
- Explore other features like voice calls, video calls, and status updates to enhance your messaging experience.
