Create Your Zoom Account
- Navigate to the Zoom website by typing "zoom.us" into your web browser's address bar and pressing Enter.
- Once on the homepage, locate the "Sign Up, It's Free" button, usually found at the top right corner of the page. Click on it to proceed.
Verify Your Age
- You will be prompted to enter your birthdate to ensure you meet the age requirements. Select the appropriate month, day, and year using the drop-down menus.
- Confirm your selection to proceed to the next step.
Enter Your Email Address
- Enter your email address in the provided field on the "Sign Up" page.
- This email will be used for receiving the confirmation email and logging into your Zoom account.
Check Your Email for Confirmation
- Open your email client and look for the verification email sent by Zoom.
- Follow the instructions in the email to activate your Zoom account by clicking on the confirmation link.
Complete the Registration Form
- After clicking the confirmation link, you will be redirected to a registration page.
- Fill in your full name and create a password for your Zoom account.
- Make sure your password meets the security requirements displayed on the page.
Invite Colleagues (Optional)
- You may be given the option to invite colleagues or friends to join Zoom. You can skip this step if you prefer, by clicking "Skip this step" at the bottom of the page.
Start Using Zoom
- Once the registration is complete, you are redirected to your new Zoom account dashboard.
- You can now start scheduling meetings, joining calls, and exploring Zoom's features.
