- Go to the official Hulu website by typing "www.hulu.com" in your browser's address bar and press Enter.
- Log in to your account using your email and password. If you use a service like Facebook to log in, click on the appropriate option.
- Once logged in, find your profile icon or name in the top-right corner of the page and click on it.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Account" to access your account settings.
- Scroll down to find the "Your Account" section, which contains information about your Hulu subscription and payment details.
- Look for the "Cancel Your Subscription" option and click on it. This initiates the cancellation process.
Confirm Cancellation
- Hulu will ask you to confirm this decision by asking why you are leaving. Select an option that best describes your reason for cancellation.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm that you wish to cancel your subscription. You may be offered special deals or other incentives to stay subscribed; review these offers if you're interested.
- Once you confirm the cancellation, Hulu will notify you about when your subscription and access to its content will end. This typically syncs with your current billing cycle.
Delete Hulu Account Permanently
- To delete your account permanently, navigate to the "California Privacy Rights" section. This is often found near the bottom of the page or by searching within their help sections.
- Locate and click the link to start the account deletion process. You may need to re-enter your password to verify your identity.
- Follow the instructions provided, which may include verifying your request through email or answering additional security questions.
- Once the process is complete, Hulu will permanently delete your account. Keep in mind that this process is irreversible, and you will lose all your watch history and settings.
