Access Your Viber App
- Open the Viber app on your mobile device. Make sure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.
Navigate to Settings
- Tap the More tab, which is usually represented by three horizontal lines or a "+" symbol, located in the bottom-right corner of the app.
- Select Settings from the list of options. This will open a new menu containing several different settings categories.
Access the Account Settings
- In the Settings menu, tap on Account. This section contains all the account-related settings.
Initiate Account Deletion
- Within the Account settings, find and tap on Deactivate Account. This option will guide you through the process of deleting your account.
- You will be prompted to enter your phone number. Make sure it’s the correct number associated with your Viber account.
Confirm Deactivation
- Once you enter your phone number, tap Deactivate to confirm. A warning message will appear, explaining that deactivating your account will erase your message history and remove you from all groups.
- Read the message carefully, then tap on Deactivate again if you are sure you want to proceed. This action cannot be undone.
Uninstall Viber (Optional)
- After deactivating your Viber account, you might also want to uninstall the app if you do not intend to use it further.
- Locate the Viber app on your device, then tap and hold the app icon. Select Uninstall or the trash bin icon to remove it completely from your mobile device.
