Log Into Your Account
- Go to the [YouTube homepage](https://www.youtube.com).
- Click the "Sign In" button located in the upper right corner.
- Enter your Google account details that are associated with the YouTube account you wish to delete.
Access Google Account Settings
- Once logged in, click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
- From the dropdown menu, click on "Manage your Google Account".
Navigate to Data & Privacy
- In the left-hand navigation pane, select "Data & privacy".
- Scroll down to the "Download or delete your data" section.
Select "Delete a Google Service"
- Click on "Delete a Google service". You may need to sign in again for security purposes.
Delete YouTube Service
- Find "YouTube" in the list of services and click the trash bin icon next to it.
- You may be prompted to re-enter your password for verification.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, choosing whether to delete only your YouTube data or your whole Google Account.
Confirm Your Decision
- Read through the summary of what deleting your YouTube service entails.
- Check any required boxes to confirm you understand the implications.
- Click "Delete" to finalise the process.
Check for Confirmation
- You should receive an email saying your YouTube service has been successfully deleted.
- Ensure you follow any additional instructions that the confirmation email might contain.
