Access Your Amazon Account
- Visit the Amazon homepage and log in with your account credentials.
- Navigate to the Account & Lists section located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select "Your Account" from the dropdown menu to access your account settings.
Manage Your Content and Devices
- In the Your Account menu, locate and click on "Content & Devices". This will redirect you to your Amazon Digital Management page.
- Here, review your digital content, including any downloaded or saved Prime Video items.
Cancel Amazon Prime Membership
- While in "Your Account", look for the "Prime" section. Click on "Prime" to view details about your membership.
- From the Prime page, find and select the "End Membership and Benefits" option.
- Follow the instructions to cancel your Prime membership. This will prevent further access to Prime Video and other membership features.
Remove Payment Methods
- Return to the "Your Account" page and select "Payment options".
- Review your linked payment methods and choose any payment option you wish to remove.
- Click "Remove" for each option to ensure no future charges are made to your account.
Delete Account Permanently
- To permanently delete your Amazon account, you will need to contact Amazon’s customer service.
- Visit the "Contact Us" section on Amazon’s help page and choose an appropriate contact method.
- Request account deletion assistance, and be sure to confirm your decision, as it cannot be undone.
Confirm and Verify
- Amazon will send a confirmation email regarding your request to delete your account. Follow any instructions included in this email.
- Once confirmed, your account and all associated services, including Prime Video, will be permanently deleted.
