Check Bluetooth Connection
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on both on your phone and the Polar Vantage device.
- Make sure your Polar Vantage is within the Bluetooth range of your phone.
- Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and confirm that your Polar Vantage is connected.
Force Close and Reopen the Polar Flow App
- On your phone, force close the Polar Flow app to ensure it is not running in the background.
- Reopen the Polar Flow app and try to initiate the sync process again.
Restart Your Devices
- Turn off both your phone and Polar Vantage. Wait a few seconds, then turn them back on.
- After restarting, check if the sync issue persists.
Update Your Devices
- Check for any available updates for both the Polar Flow app and your Polar Vantage's firmware.
- Install any updates and try syncing again after the updates have finished.
Re-pair Your Devices
- In your phone’s Bluetooth settings, remove the Polar Vantage from the list of paired devices.
- Put your Polar Vantage in pairing mode and reconnect it with your phone.
Clear App Cache (Android Only)
- Go to your phone's Settings, navigate to the apps/settings section, find the Polar Flow app.
- Clear the app’s cache and data. This might fix any issues caused by corrupted app data.
Check Internet Connection
- Make sure your phone is connected to the internet as an active internet connection is required for syncing with Polar Flow.
- If using Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data or vice versa to test if the issue is with the data connection.
Reset the Polar Vantage
- If the above steps do not work, you can try performing a factory reset on your Polar Vantage. Note that this will erase all settings and data on the device.
- After the reset, set up your Polar Vantage again and try syncing it with the Polar Flow app.
