Reset a Tile Tracker
- Open the Tile app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Log in to your Tile account if you haven't already.
- Find the Tile you want to reset. This can be done by checking the list of connected Tiles in the app.
- Tap on the Tile that you wish to reset to bring up its details.
- Look for an option to reset or "Delete" the Tile from the app. Note that this action will remove the Tile from your account.
- After removing the Tile from your account, press and hold the button on the Tile for approximately 10 seconds or until you hear a melody. This indicates that the Tile has been reset.
Re-add the Tile
- With the Tile still active, go back to the Tile app.
- Select the option to “Add a Tile” or similar button based on the app version.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the Tile back with your account.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
- If the Tile isn't resetting, ensure it is charged or has a working battery. Replace the battery if necessary in models that support this.
- Make sure your smartphone or tablet has Bluetooth turned on when trying to reset or connect the Tile.
- Update the Tile app to the latest version through your device’s app store to avoid any compatibility issues.
- If the app cannot find the Tile after resetting, try restarting your smartphone/tablet and repeat the pairing process.
