Factory Reset Your Meta Quest

- Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons on your Meta Quest simultaneously until the headset turns on and shows the menu.
- Use the volume buttons to navigate the menu that appears and highlight "Factory Reset." The volume buttons act as navigational keys: Volume Up goes up, and Volume Down goes down.
- Press the Power button to select "Factory Reset."
- You will see a confirmation screen. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes," then press the Power button to confirm. This action will initiate the factory reset process. Wait for the reset to complete.
Fix Issues If Needed
- If your Meta Quest doesn't respond to the button inputs, fully charge it and try again. Sometimes, low battery issues can affect the reset process.
- If the reset doesn't resolve your issues, make sure the device isn't physically damaged. Check for cracks on the lenses or any other hardware issues.
- Update the software after the reset if the device still fails to operate correctly. Connect it to the internet and see if any updates are available that might fix the issue.
- Contact Meta Support if the problem persists after these steps. They can diagnose deeper issues that might not be easily fixable by a reset or update.
