Resetting Polar Vantage
- Before performing a reset, it's crucial to back up any important data. The reset process can erase your watch's data.
- First, ensure your Polar Vantage watch is turned off. To do this, press and hold the BACK button until the display turns off.
- To initiate a factory reset, turn the watch back on by pressing and holding the power button (the RED button on the side).
- Once the watch turns on, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the settings menu.
- Select "Settings", then scroll down to "General Settings".
- In the General Settings menu, find and select "About your watch".
- Scroll down until you find "Settings & Factory Reset". Click on it and confirm by selecting "Factory Reset".
Fix Problems After Reset
- After the reset, you'll need to set up the watch again. Begin by choosing your language and region.
- Connect your Polar Vantage to the Polar Flow app on your smartphone for optimal results. Follow on-screen instructions to do so.
- If you encounter issues syncing your data, ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled. Troubleshoot by restarting your phone and the watch.
- If problems persist, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Polar Flow app. Re-pair the devices if necessary.
