Restarting Your Fitbit Sense
- Press and hold the button on your Fitbit Sense until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This usually takes about 10 seconds.
- If the device doesn’t respond, press and hold the button for an additional 30 to 60 seconds.
- Once the logo appears, release the button and allow your Fitbit Sense to restart.
Troubleshooting Common Problems
- Check if your Fitbit has sufficient charge. Sometimes devices fail to restart due to low battery. Charge your device and try restarting again.
- If your Fitbit Sense is not responding even after a restart, make sure the device’s software is updated. You can do this through the Fitbit app on your phone by going to Account > Sense > Update.
- Ensure that the button on your device is not stuck or dirty, which might prevent a proper restart. Clean the button gently with a soft cloth.
- Consider conducting a factory reset if issues persist after trying the above steps. Remember this will erase all data. Go to Settings > About Sense > Factory Reset.
- If your Fitbit Sense still doesn’t work correctly, contact Fitbit support for help.
