Change Wi-Fi on Belkin Wemo Link
- Ensure your Wemo Link is powered on and properly connected. You'll need to have the Wemo app downloaded on your smartphone or tablet.
- Open the Wemo app on your device. It's available for both iOS and Android platforms, so make sure you have the latest version installed.
- Once inside the app, look for the menu or settings icon, usually represented by three horizontal lines or a gear symbol. Tap on it to access the settings menu.
- In the settings menu, locate and select "Change Wi-Fi" or "Update Wi-Fi settings." The exact wording may vary slightly depending on your app version.
- The app will guide you to disconnect the Wemo Link's current Wi-Fi connection. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the Wi-Fi change process.
- After disconnecting the current network, the app will prompt you to select a new Wi-Fi network. Choose your desired Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks on the screen.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password for the selected network when prompted. Make sure you enter the password accurately to avoid any connection issues.
- Once you input the password, the Wemo Link will attempt to connect to the new Wi-Fi network. This may take a few moments to complete.
- After successfully connecting, a confirmation message will appear in the app indicating that the Wi-Fi change was successful. Your Wemo Link should now be connected to the new network.
- If the connection is unsuccessful, double-check your Wi-Fi credentials and try again. Ensure your device is within range of the Wi-Fi router.
