Check Device Compatibility
- Ensure all devices are compatible with the multi-room audio feature. Older models may not support this feature.
Update Device Software
- Open the Alexa app on your mobile device. Go to Devices, select the Echo device, and check for any available updates. Install updates if necessary.
Ensure Stable Network Connection
- Make sure your Wi-Fi network is stable and that all Echo devices are connected to the same network frequency (preferably 2.4 GHz for better coverage).
- Reboot your router to refresh the network if needed.
Restart Echo Devices
- Unplug your Echo devices from power, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug them back in to restart them.
Reconfigure Multi-Room Music Group
- In the Alexa app, go to Devices and select Multi-Room Music. Remove the existing group and create a new one to reconfigure the settings.
Check Device Distances
- Make sure your Echo devices are not too far from each other. Try to maintain an optimal distance for better connectivity.
Verify Cloud Synchronization
- Ensure that the device settings are properly synced with your Amazon account. Check for any issues in the Alexa app.
Disable and Re-enable Multi-Room Feature
- Temporarily disable the multi-room audio feature and then re-enable it to reset the configuration.
Contact Amazon Support
- If the issue persists, contact Amazon support for further assistance, as there might be a hardware issue or a specific setting that needs attention.
