Prepare Your Devices
- Ensure your Amazon Echo Dot is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
- Turn on your Bluetooth speaker and make sure it’s ready to be paired. Check the manual if needed, as different speakers have different methods to enter pairing mode.
Access the Alexa App
- Open the Alexa app on your smartphone or tablet. Make sure you are signed in with the same account your Echo Dot is registered to.
Navigate to Devices
- In the bottom right corner, find and tap the "Devices" icon. This will open a menu where all your Alexa-enabled devices are listed.
Select Your Echo Dot
- Under the "Devices" section, tap "Echo & Alexa." Pick the Echo Dot you want to pair with your Bluetooth speaker from the list.
Access Bluetooth Options
- Once you have selected your Echo Dot, scroll down to find and tap the "Bluetooth Devices" option.
Initiate Pairing Mode
- In the Bluetooth menu, tap "Pair a New Device." Your Echo Dot will start scanning for available Bluetooth devices within range.
Select Your Speaker
- From the list of discovered devices, find and tap on your Bluetooth speaker's name to pair it with your Echo Dot. The app will confirm once the connection is successful.
