Access Your Arlo Account
- First, open your web browser and navigate to the Arlo website. Alternatively, you can open the Arlo app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Log in using your Arlo account credentials (email and password).
Navigate to Device Settings
- Once logged in, locate and select the “Settings” option in the menu. If you're using the app, it might be represented by a gear icon.
- Within the “Settings” area, look for the “Devices” section where you can see all cameras connected to your account.
Select the Camera to Remove
- In the “Devices” list, find the camera you wish to remove. It might be useful to note the camera details to ensure you're selecting the correct one if you have multiple cameras.
- Click on the camera's name or settings to access its options and details.
Remove the Camera
- Within the camera's settings, look for an option that says “Remove Device” or something similar. The exact wording might vary slightly depending on updates to the app or website.
- Click on “Remove Device”. You may be asked to confirm your decision to prevent accidental removal; follow the prompts to proceed.
Verify Removal
- Once removed, return to the “Devices” section to ensure the camera no longer appears in your list.
- If it still appears, try refreshing the page or logging out and then logging back in to update the list.
Repeat for Additional Cameras
- If you have multiple cameras to remove, repeat the above steps for each camera.
- Ensure you have removed all desired devices by checking the “Devices” section again after completing these steps.
Consider Account Security
- After removing unwanted cameras, ensure your account remains secure by changing your password if necessary. This step is especially key if you removed cameras due to them being compromised or sold to someone else.
- Regularly update your Arlo app to benefit from security enhancements and fixes.
